Facebook Page Hint and Tips

One thing I try to do regularly is answer design questions that I have been recently asked or give guidance on programmes and apps that can achieve what clients need to do but doesn't know how to. I am often asked about removing a background from an image. Here is a link to one of my hints and tips that may be of help. Like and follow my Facebook Business page for regular updates.

Apps to Create Animation
for Online Posts

In order to gain good interaction a posts needs to be eye catching and stand out from the crowd. My current favourite for this is Adobe Spark Post. In this app, that can be downloaded for FREE, you can 'brandify' your designs to add colour and remain consistent. I uploaded my exact logo background colour and went from there. Animations are so easy and there are many templates for promotional purposes. Have a read and see what you think. A firm favourite!

At a Crossroad with
Programmes and Apps?

Let me walk you through the minefield and break it down step by step.

If you get stuck with where to go next or want to explore different programmes and apps have a look at some recommendations on my Facebook page where I aim to offer some guidance. You may find something you hadn't thought of before and give it a try. Even if you're at the top of your game you may need a little assistance in finding your way around digitally. It is your specialism that you focus on and there will be skills outside that periphery that you need to acquire to move forwards with your work and promotion of it.

I deliver one to ones and workshops that will be adapted to suit your needs and always ask that, if you have something you want to do or create, bring it along. In this way you can walk away with an end product to show as well as gaining practical skills. It may be that something needs a tweak or small changes. We can work in it together.

Graphics Intro Workbooks and Courses

In these strange times we find ourselves wanting to upskill, having to occupy the kids, needing to work on our own development. I have created a range of resources that can be provided as PDFs for anyone who is curious about how to take their first steps into graphic design - provided free by email to those who are entry level into the design world. They include the very basic of project planning, sketching ideas and exploring industry standard programmes.

Leading on you may wish to subscribe to a paid weekly basic course with resources and images provided which will help you to navigate the minefield of tools found on Adobe Photoshop.

Adobe Illustrator basic course is at writing and testing stages and soon for release.
